First day at COLLEGE

Today we had the first day at college and it was quite an eye opener(all the first days really are are as you come to know which hours you are gonna sleep) . The first hour was taken by Renganathan sir as he is going to handle VLSI(very large scale integrated circuits) to our dismay,then the next hour was taken by the silent killer of our department, that is our HOD (T.Mangayarkarasi) in short TM. She is going to handle robotics for us this semester. As one could have expected of her she started lecturing about the importance of project(as if she really cares about us ) also she was all smiles(looks like she wanna earn good name from final years,alas!too late baby), the next hour was truly a surprise with miss Sumathi, she is gonna handle instrumentation in petrochemical industries for us and she turned out to be an empty vessel and so made a lot of noise about us not keeping quiet(phew!,and we are supposed to be final years ), as a matter of fact she was about to call HOD(as if that would shut us up:) ) . As far as the subject is concerned she fulfilled my expectations (which is she proved to be woefully ignorant like other staffs of ICE , nothing new though). After lunch we once again Renga's hour(ofcourse like good engg students we slept promptly) the next hour was that of hod and after taking a bit of class a passed out senior came and lectured us about importance of projects, he was quite a cool dude with an M.S in petrochemical instrumentation from Australia .Then we were sent to Lab we were supposed discuss our improvement in project work in hols(as if there is one) and luckily before our batch's turn came the hour ended and we escaped(for time being though as there is no final escape from project).
